Client: A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc.
Duration: 3 months
Work responsibilities:
- Developed the prototypes of A. G. Edwards Master Service Agreement booklet in the first phase of this two phase information design project. Responsibilities for the first phase included design of a grid system, layout composition, and development of wireframes.
- Responsibilities for the second phase of the project included the refinement of selected prototype in terms of layout composition, table of content design, cover page graphic design, and a print-ready content composition.
Issues with existing design
- Cover Page was plain, and lacked attraction.
- TOC was not ideal in effectively navigating the document.
- Content was too flat with insufficient hierarchy within the various content sections.
- Crucial information was buried deep in the respective sections, and finding a particular piece of information in the existing taxonomy could be very difficult.
